Once again, the wild horses of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, are elusive.  I am on something of a redemption trip to this barrier island.  The first time I attempt to photograph them a couple of years ago, they barely make an appearance on the beach….

As a child, I go to Cape Cod often for family vacations.  Back then it is all about miniature golf, the swimming pool at the motel, how much fudge I can eat, and what I can buy at the souvenir shops.  I have such fond memories of these times….

There is a hurricane off the coast.  I check the surf report and the waves are high.  I grab my camera and head to the beach.  It is a perfect time for me to capture the stormy scene…
