Welcome to my first blog.  Why blog?  A couple of reasons….  People often message me with questions about my process, travels, and equipment.  But also, writing about photography helps me to connect more with my work and expand my creativity. 

My photography journey begins at a young age, when I help my father, a hobby photographer at the time, develop film in a makeshift darkroom at our home.  I have such fond and vivid memories of this time, and it is an early inspiration for my life as a photographer.  I have had a camera in my hands ever since.

I like to say my camera is an extension of myself.  It is how I see the world.  I have a lifelong love of nature and wildlife and I put that passion into every photograph.  I travel both near and far with my camera.  Follow me to learn more about my travels, photography, equipment, and some of my favorite photo tips.
